 Personal Injury:

Road Accidents Mullaneys Solicitors have recently become aware of a number of cases where injured persons are being approached directly by the insurance company for the prime purpose of achieving a quick settlement of their injuries cases. After an accident occurs the insurance company takes an active role in handling the case for the employer. If you have an accident at work you should report your accident to somebody in authority. If necessary go to a Doctor or to Hospital. If you feel it is not necessary to go to a doctor and that the injury may go away, it is essential that you simply attend with your General Practitioner and inform him of your injury even if you have no intention of bringing a claim. The doctor will then have a record of the initial attendance and complaint in the event that subsequently the injury becomes more serious and it is necessary to make a claim.
